Love this heat cap, has made such an incredible difference to my hairs porosity & moisture retention. It also encourages a half hour relaxing being plugged in to a socket too which is definitely an added bonus in my eyes!

I have mainly mid length 3C hair and have struggled with moisture loss, particularly with a tighter curl pattern around the crown. After using the heat hat for 30 minutes with a regular brand conditioner it immediately felt softer and more conditioned.
I used my usual quantity of styling cream/gel and realised afterwards I probably only need half as much because my hair was much more hydrated than normal. The fact that it will save me on styling products going forward makes me love it even more!!

Really enjoy using the heat hat, it gives me time to sit and relax and take a breather after washing and conditioning my hair. The heat is very therapeutic, I wish I could be there for longer but the timer is set to 30 minutes for a reason I guess. I also like the packaging it comes in, I just put everything back in the bag once I'm done. My hair honestly feels so soft afterwards, I'm glad I get to add this to my wash day routine.
I bought the steam cap from Team Texture (TT) and, so far, I’m really pleased with it.
As a Black woman with textured hair, I’m always looking for good-quality products that actually work for our different hair textures, and I think TT have done a really good job with this. The steam cap is really handy, portable and feels relatively sturdy. And, of course, I chose the leopard print because, for me, that’s the best one!
It’s still early days, so I can’t comment yet on how well it will stand the test of time. I’m someone who likes to buy quality and look after my things properly, so I’m hoping that with the right care, the cap will last me for a long time.
The only thing I would change, from a UK user’s point of view, is the plug. A UK three-pin plug would be more convenient for using it at home. However, I completely understand why TT have gone with a two-pin plug. It makes the steam cap much more travel-friendly, as you can take it abroad and, with the appropriate travel adaptor, use it in different countries. So actually, for someone who travels, the two-pin plug is a real benefit.
I also really like the shower-cap-style cover. It’s a good addition, although I do think the finishing around the edges could be looked at. It feels quite delicate and, when I looked at it closely, I noticed that the overlocking wasn’t sitting quite as neatly as I would expect. I think that’s something TT could review, particularly if the aim is for the product to last.
The silky headband is another nice touch. For me, though, I find it a little too long. I appreciate that everyone has different-sized heads and different amounts and types of hair — whether it’s loose natural hair, locs, extensions or lots of volume — so I can understand why it has been made that way. Personally, I just think it could be a bit shorter.
But overall, I’m very happy with it. I think Team Texture are doing really well, and I love that they’re creating products with textured hair in mind.

Hair looks so much more moisturised and shiny. Also a nice opportunity to sit back and relax in some self care, throw on a face mask and it’s a lovely 30 mins of chill.
Maybe for the next version it’ll be wireless 👀. Would be great to manoeuvre round the house with it on.

I love it! It really does keep my moisture in but I am sure it would do more with the headband that I am currently waiting for.

Overall it is a good hat. I like the alerts when it has finished and the remote has a thick cable which is sturdy. I like it so far but hoping for the full experience with the headband.

I have only used the heat hat twice since its arrival 2 weeks ago and I have seen a difference in my hair already. My hair loss has massively reduced and is definitely helping my home made hair oil penetrate through the hair and scalp. I will be recommending this product to friends and family.
My hair feels so healthy after only using it twice! I have dry low porosity curly 3b/c curls and have really struggled with the tighter coils at my crown getting dry and frizzy. My curl products could not get in! After using this heat mask it has made a world of a difference to the texture. It’s in my weekly routine and it’s really relaxing to use. Great product!

One of the best things I’ve purchased in 2026! Honestly, I’ve used the heat hat a couple of times so far and already I’m noticing a difference to the texture of my hair and appreciate that all the family can use it to. Easy to use, great value and be prepared to relax fully, once on.
Had my hair colour treated, unfortunately it went wrong, worried when it started breaking. Saw the TT post on instagram and quickly purchased. It is so amazing. My hair has regained its texture, softer, stop breaking and stronger

I bought the set as a gift for my friend. When we spoke about home treatments she said she rarely did them and that when she did she didn’t use heat to help penetrate the hair. That’s when I knew I had to gift her the set. I am happy to report that my friend has noticed a difference with her hair, the hair is more soft and manage able plus the curls are hydrated.
The steam cap has definitely become a stapler in her hair routine.
I was finally able to use the heating cap and I definitely enjoyed it. It gives gradual warming and allows the hair to absorb the product well. My only critique is that maybe in the future the cap will come in bigger sizes because it was a little bit of a struggle for myself especially when you have a bigger head and thick hair. Aside from that I really enjoyed the cap. Sorry for taking so long to respond.
